Dear customers, 

Despite appropriate packaging and the care taken by all parties involved to always deliver kilns to you in perfect condition, transport damage can occur. 

Please document any damage found and email appropriate photos showing the damage to your dealer and to KITTEC! If you ignore this, we and the delivery company won’t accept any claims for damages. 

You MUST inspect the delivery for damage before signing proof of delivery!

With your signature you confirm the completeness and perfect condition of the parcels. Therefore, please be sure to inspect the shipment before signing the delivery documents!

Acceptance of Delivery

Shipment without damage to the packaging: With your signature, you confirm the perfect condition of your delivery!

Shipment is minimally damaged. Be sure to note this on the consignment note and accept the shipment.

Refusing Delivery in the Event of Damage

Is the shipment extensively damaged? In this case, refuse to accept the delivery and promptly inform both your specialist retailer and KITTEC.

WE KINDLY ASK YOU TO CHECK YOUR SHIPMENT STEP BY STEP.

 

 

1. The shipment is in order: If there is no visible damage to the packaging, please

accept the delivery by signing for it as received in good condition.

 

2. The shipment is heavily damaged: If you notice any damage or if the external condition of the delivery is clearly deficient, for example, if you can hear noises of broken plates or stones, please

refuse acceptance!

The package will then be returned to us and recorded as a damage claim. In this case, please contact your dealer and KITTEC immediately.

 

3. Minimally damaged packaging: PLEASE NOTE:

„Packaging damaged“ on the freight bill and accept the shipment.

If you find minimal damage or if concealed damage is discovered only after signing and further unpacking, please proceed as follows in both cases:

 

  • If damage to the packaging is found, document the unpacking process and any damage: If no damage to the product is found: Very good! If there is damage: Take detailed photos of both the unpacking process and all damage found on the goods. It is important to keep the kiln on the pallet.
  • Email photos of the damage: Send these photos immediately to your dealer and to KITTEC!
  • Wait for further steps: Wait for further instructions from KITTEC before removing the goods from the pallet. In the event of a return shipment, you should repack the goods according to KITTEC’s instructions and prepare them for collection.

 

In the event of transport damage, we on both sides have a strong interest in ensuring that the damage is resolved quickly and that the costs can be claimed from the party responsible. If you follow the above points, we can handle this together without complications.
