Bisque firing
Bisque firing, which is also known as biscuit firing, is the initial firing of ceramic products, i.e. the firing of the dried, unglazed biscuit.
During bisque or biscuit firing, the arrangement of the items that are being fired is not critical.
They may touch each other and be stacked on top of each other, or the kiln can also be filled in levels using shelf props and fireclay plates.
Of course, KITTEC also offers suitable kilns and controls for Bisque firing. In our product overview you will find, for example, the range of top and front loaders, which are suitable for Bisque firing depending on the requirements. In this context, we would like to refer in particular to our model series CB and SQ as well as our model series ECO or model series X.
